The Oregon State Beavers compete in the Pacific Ten Conference, and enjoy one of the most passionate fan bases in the nation. Oregon State Beavers men's basketball has a tremendous history of success and boasts alumni who went on to major professional careers, such as Gary "The Glove" Payton and "Iron Man" A.C. Green. The Beavers play their home games at Gill Coliseum, which is located at the intersection of 26^th Street and Washington Way in Corvallis, OR, and has spacious seating capacity of nearly 11,000 seats. The Beavers have struggled as of late, but as a testament to their previous history of success still rank in the Top 20 for victories among the nation's basketball programs. The 2007-2008 season was a tough one, but the great news is that there's plenty of room for improvement for the men of Corvallis. The Beavers got off to a respectable 5-3 start, but weren't able to push through during conference play, although they did enjoy good years from Marcel Jones and Seth Tarver.

The 2008-2009 season is one of the redemption for the Oregon State Beavers, and the Gill Coliseum box office still enjoys good ticket sales despite the disappointment of last year.
