The Miami Heat are led by new head coach Erik Spoelestra in 2008-2009, and the NBA's youngest head coach wants to reclaim the top spot in the Southeast Division over the rival Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic, and Charlotte Bobcats. Team owner Micky Arison and GM Pat Riley had a busy off-season by adding rookie superstar Michael Beasley with the 2nd pick in the NBA Draft, as well as adding three-point specialist James Jones. The 2008-2009 NBA season will feature a sold-out American Airlines Arena, especially for the featured Eastern Conference showdowns with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers Detroit Pistons, and Boston Celtics.
