Last fall, the Kansas Jayhawks football line-up produced one of the best stories in the Big 12 conference and in all of college football. The University of Kansas Jayhawks has been more known for its NCAA legacy in basketball than for their NCAA Football team, which plays its home schedule in Lawrence, Kansas. The away games on the schedule feature Kansas vs. Oklahoma and Kansas vs. Nebraska. Technically the rivalry game with Missouri is listed as an away game. Missouri is one of the two main rivals Kansas has, the other being the Kansas State Wildcats. Seating will be at a premium when the games feature Kansas v Missouri and Kansas v Kansas State. Recruiting will improve with Kansas being successful in these contests. Mangino hopes to attract talent who will eventually be first round picks in the future NFL drafts.
