The Colorado Buffaloes have enjoyed tremendous success both in the Big XII Conference as well as on the national stage, and their men's basketball team has produced fantastic teams and players who would go on to NBA stardom. Colorado's men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams play their home games at the Coors Events Center, which is located on Kittredge Loop Road on the campus at Boulder, Colorado. The multi-purpose venue has a spacious seating capacity of over 11,000 seats, and its box office has enjoyed tremendous ticket sales, both for Buffaloes basketball and volleyball but also because it occasionally offers concerts with some of the nation's premier musical acts. The Colorado men's basketball team has enjoyed quite a home court advantage at Coors Events Center, and the program has everything in place to make some noise in the Big XII North now that former Air Force head coach Jeff Bzdelik is guiding the Buffs. Colorado hired Bzdelik after the Buffaloes finished the 2007-2008 season with a 12-20 record, and the Coors Events Center box office has already seen a tremendous increase in ticket sales for the 2008-2009 season.
