Mara, son of famous owner Wellington Mara, and the Giants GM is Jerry Reese, who is the 3^rd African American GM in NFL history. The Giants can't improve upon the 2007, if winning the Super Bowl is the standard. But they can repeat. The Giants resigned their kicker and punter, and locked down defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo with a 3 year extension. They also added Pro Bowl Safety Sammy Knight. In the 2008 draft, the Giants have 8 overall selections, including the 31^st pick.
