University of Nebraska Cornhuskers tradition is some of the best in NCAA Football. The Huskers play in the Big 12 Conference, and their home stadium is named Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. Pelini hopes to restore the tradition of annual bowl games and recruiting success. The Huskers traditionally featured line-ups each fall with future first round picks and NFL players. Husker fans are some of the best in the country, and the home schedule will feature sold out games and standing room only seating. The tailgating is incredible, so parking passes are recommended. The 2008-2009 schedule will be challenging, with visiting Virginia Tech highlighting the non-conference schedule. The away games feature games at Texas Tech and Oklahoma. The Husker faithful hope this year will provide another conference championship, and will lay the groundwork for a future BCS National Championship.
