Baylor University is one of America's most respected institutions, and Baylor Bear athletic teams proudly compete in the Big XII Conference, which is without question one of America's best leagues. The Bears men's and women's basketball teams have a history littered with national success; the men's basketball team was the opponent when basketball icon Adolph Rupp won his first national championship, and they've advanced to an Elite 8 and to two Final Four's in their storied history.
